Twilight

Finished reading Twilight today. Yes, I know, hard to believe there was still someone on this planet who had not yet read it. I figured with the movie recently available for America's viewing pleasure I better read it before I saw the movie. I really did like it, however, I was a little disappointed at how it ended. I don't know whether he killed her or not.?! I've been told that I have to read all 4 to find out. I didn't want to hop on this bandwagon but I just have to know what happens now. And as my great friend Jana pointed out to me earlier, I know I am 2 years behind the times but somehow I've never heard what the final outcome was. So off I go to start the next book while Jana pokes fun at me for not being a follower and moving at my own pace!! I promise I won't let you down on the next "bandwagon" Jana.

I haven't read a single one myself! Did just watch the movie though. I haven't seen Star Wars (old or new), and I saw Lord of the Rings way late, and I haven't ready Harry Potter - so there you go! Someone to join you!

Thanks for the accountant info. I feel like I know you a teensy tiny bit b/c Jana & Bianca refer to you and Paul refers to Steve. So thanks Friend!

You all should read (although I know Jana has) all 4. They really are a good read. The overall story is pretty good although I'm sure some of the books coulda been combined. You'll like it and then feel part of the 'in' crowd :) IF that's your thing haha. ENJOY!

Love the photo on your header! Sierrah said Steph was watching the movie last night! Bout time you started reading! I really liked the books, the movie, just ok. Sierrah wanted to read them I agreed to let her read the first one and she never did. She did see the movie though, just a couple of weeks ago.

I don't read much but am half-way done with the fourth book. I was captured, too. Shocking, I usually just watch the movie, reading usually takes to long, but these books grab you.

Read them all, own them all. At heart I'm still a romantic teenager. Just saw "17 Again" and loved it. Is it wrong for me to say Zac Efron is SOOOO HOT!!!?
Alison is not a reader (???) and I'm going to bribe her to read at least one twilight book this summer since the movie was "her most favorite EVER" - hope to get her hooked on reading - hope I don't regret it.
Someday we'll have to have a group chat on the pitfalls of unrealistic romantic ideas that come from the media. I've warned the young ladies in my life to not expect Edward-Bella love in their future.

My husband bought me the first one last year because his mom and sister liked it. I read it out loud while he was playing world of warcraft. As soon as I was done, he went out and bought the second, same with the third. A month later he sent me to the midnight release of the 4th. We went to the midnight release for the video too, though we did wait a week or two to watch the movie after it came out. Then he made me help him catch up on "reading" all the Harry Potter books. He had only read to the third. It isn't being "trendy" it's being "cultured" (like buttermilk? canned butter? what is that anyway?).
