Cankles

About a month and a half ago I started taking thyroid medication. The pharmacist AND the doctor both said there were no major side effects. Immediately I noticed that if I don't take it with a TON of water then my mouth gets really dry SO I take it with a ton of water. And then about 3 weeks later I noticed some swelling in my ankles and feet...nothing major but I could definitely notice. Called the doctor, she said it was nothing and to ease up on the sodium if it continues. But you tell me, is this nothing? Because it's a huge difference from this which was just two months ago. Can you say Cankles?!
Any solutions or suggestions would be gladly accepted.

Yikes Julie! I'm no doctor, but would definitely seek one out for a second opinion:/

you could look into Armour thyroid, instead of synthroid. There is a lot of good info out there about how to help with thyroid issues, so you don't have to just "deal with it" like the doctor says. :)
