1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you have of me. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
I'm writing an autobiography for my kids and I think this will be great for them to see the different memories or things that I may forget or not include...I am going to add all of your comments to the end of my autobiography.

My favorite memory was recent and it was when Steph and I were driving with you to pick up Josh from the airport and we had to turn around, because you went into the departures instead of the arrivals. We stopped at the road to turn around on the freeway and I said "That guy is looking at us"! Which he was in the car beside us. You went to happy Julie to I will kill you Julie. I will never forget you yelling "What are you looking at"!!! I love it and everytime I think about it I laugh -julia
Okay, I will play this game. One memory I have of you that is funny was one time when I was at your home and Stephanie was down the street in someone's house getting clothes, you opened the front door and screamed at the top of our lungs," STEPHANIE!!!" I declare they could have heard you at Guadalupe and the 101!:) I remember thinking, Julie is Ghettolicious and I love it!
Love ya.
I remember when you first found my blog, and you left me a comment. You tried to explain who you are, and why you're not just a nut stalker, and the next Sunday in church, you made it a point to talk to me just so I knew for sure!
So I hope this memory doesn't come back to bite me...You and I were the last people at Book Club. We were standing in the kitchen watching the kids record their voices over a movie. It was so funny and awkward at the same time, and we just couldn't help but laugh. And then you took a little piece of a treat that was made and commented later that you were glad you took a small piece. It was pretty hilarious. Thanks for making me laugh!
Julie Wright, Jules, mother, sister, friend, and WAXY MAMA!
Everything Jules does is evidence that she loves her family and friends. One day, I was spending my break at her desk because she is magnetic. She is the kind of person people love to be around. She was hand-making valentine cards for each child’s entire classroom. At that time, I think 3 were in school & one still with grandma. There were cute pieces of ribbons, bows, cardstock paper strewn about. Her cell phone was lying there in the midst of the motley mix of scrap-booking type materials. The display on her phone screen said, “Waxy Mama.” Geez, you think you know somebody and then you’re thrown for a loop. I must have made my Crazy Face because Jules busted into unbridled laughter while trying to explain something about selling candles. I said to myself, “Yeah, right.” I must have been making my Crazier Face because she just kept giggle and explaining in phrases between the breaths required for almost constant chuckling. For a while, I called her Waxy Mama. I am sure it got old quickly. Even though I finally quit it, I still think of her as WAXY MAMA.
ok...well i remember that one time when i called to see if steph could hang out, and u answered the phone. i was like " can steph hang out?" u were like "no shes grounded." i said: what did she do? and u r like: she egged the old ladies car next door.
at first i didnt belive you but u talked me into it. u wouldnt even belive how sad i was!!!!! haha. well im sure i have a better memory, but this is 1 i will never forget:) im gettin a phone on monday:))) hehe
Ok so goes my very first memory of you Julie...you said good bad or sad whatever...this is a true story. Will and I were engaged to be married and we got a call at like 10pm on a weekend night when we were on a date from Will's Mom saying that we needed to come over right away because Julie had just hit her. We were in Mesa so on the drive over I was thinking, "Wow, I've never met Julie and have only met Maggie 2 times...why am I driving an hour one way over there this late at night? Do I even want to know Julie if she is hitting her M-I-L?" Honest thoughts. :o)
When we got there all I remember is that Maggie wanted Julie & I to go in Creea's bedroom and shut the door so she could talk to her son's privately. At first I was a little apprehensive not sure if I needed to be ready to defend myself or not. ha ha I remember thinking why didn't Steve say or do anything if Julie was beating up his Momma?
I remember talking until like 2-3 am with Julie she was very nice and we laughed and enjoyed our conversation in that dark messy bedroom that night. I also recall thinking it was a little weird that we were sent away for that long and our guys didn't come and say we could leave...they must have been having a very serious conversation with their Mom.
Needless to say I enjoyed the first night of talking to Julie and recalling our 80's big bangs and winged hair! And for the record she swore to everyone that she never hit Maggie and Steve didn't recall her hitting her either. I'm not going to say she did or didn't but Maggie didn't have any marks or bruises or swelling that night either. :o) I'm not saying that Julie couldn't beat just about anyone up but I'm just saying that if she hit someone I think there would be some bruising, swelling or bleeding so a word to the wise would be don't make her angry! :o)
I've got your back Sista!!! (these days might not be of much help but back in high school I was tough) hee hee
One more...karaoke for a combined birthday party August 2006! After waiting & waiting for the kids, Steve & Toma & Gayle for the microphones...Julie and I sang our hearts out together for hours! We brought down the house...YEAH! Good times Good times!
I remember meeting Julie when we both got hired at USAA. On our second day of training, Julie was heating up her lunch in the microwave and the rest of our traing group (about 20 of us) sat a table waiting for her to join us. She turned and started walking towards the table and didn't notice the two small stairs in front of her. She missed the steps and came towards the table in a quick stumble/hop, then turned away from the table and stumbled/ran past the table as she yelled out, "the stumble that got me, it was you yelling out,
"Oh my God you guys...I'm falling!," although she didn't actually fall, she just hopped a few more steps foward and came to a stop.
Nobody at our table moved, and then one of the guys, Darren, looked at me like he was about to choke and I nearly spit my water all over his face and I just started cracking up! I seriously could not help it, and my mother would have killed me if she saw me laughing at another person as they almost fell. In fact everyone else at the table looked at me like I was some kind of alien! But not Julie! She walked back to the table, laughing and she and I could NOT stop laughing!! It was the best!
Later that day, we got in trouble a few times during our training because we would crack up laughing everytime we looked at each other! Even now, every time I think about that story I bust out laughing. That's what I will always remember about Julie. She is so much fun and I ALWAYS end up laughing until I can't breathe when she is around!!!!
Remember that time I was at Albertsons with a bunch of my friends and we were all reaching deep into our pockets for money to give to a bum who just begged us and you came roaring up and screaming out the window to not give that bum any money! And we all jumped in the car and said 'Man you scared us Sister Wright! You're hardcore!"
member that?
oh wait.
Hey julie yeah i remember a few things like when you first came to harlingen you had a funky hairstyle and with in no time everyone had the same hairstyle. And you know what there are still girls that wear it. I also remember that everytime you would dance you would have your tounge sticking out in between your teeth. You were always laughing and loved my moms conchitas. You were a happy girl and thats how i remember you.
one memory I have of you is when me and you went to the renissance festival we went around every where and I got to leave my class. It was in sixth grade. We bought tons of stuff mostly necklaces. I got a little hat thing that was like flowers with ribbon hanging down. I don't remember what its called but I have it hanging on my wall right now. We got necklaces that I still have. We got these beautiful matching rings as like a friendship thing I think but unfortunately when I jumped up at school to touch the monkey bars it totally broke. I still have the peices lol. I was crushed!I came in with fourty dollars and came back with absolutely nothing lol. Anyways that was a fun memory. I loved the expierence! Thank you so much Aunt Julie!
First met you when we were lamenting about the lousy coach our sons were stuck with. It was so fun to sit and visit, I felt like I hadn't known you a long time, but you are that kind of person, easy to talk to, very opinionated, and funny too. Hope they are together again, only with a better coach:)
HA! I'm not sure what to write. I remember after we graduated we shared that 2 bdrm apt with those two guys and I don't remember their names. That was a crazy time! The place was always messy...that's how guys are...hee hee...Oh how young we were. I miss you Julie! Make sure you let me know if you're ever in town...
